Hi everybody! I’d like to say Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there, and especially to my own mom. I love her and appreciate everything she does for me, including taking me to all kinds of animal rescue events and signing me up for Vet Camp at the NC Zoo, which I went to yesterday! It was so much fun!! Some of the things I did was learn how to do CPR on a pet, how to give shots and do physical exams, how to dart a wild animal to give medications, and I even held a tarantula (wearing gloves of course)! This has been my second year going, and I feel like I’ve learned even more than the first time. I’m looking forward to going back next year!
